What is PPA?
The Pappinbarra Progress Association Inc. (PPA), is managed by a group of volunteers who work hard to foster community spirit, to maintain our community owned Hollisdale Hall and host events all year round. PPA welcomes all comers to our varied activities.
What We Value
The aims of the Pappinbarra Progress Association Inc. (PPA) are to:

Encourage a sense of community among the residents of the rural Pappinbarra Valley; and
-
Exercise effective stewardship of the community-owned Hollisdale Hall at 1493 Pappinbarra Road Hollisdale NSW 2446.
Aims
Objectives
1. To be accountable to members for sound management including by:
-
Holding an AGM
-
Holding regular committee meetings that are open to and advertised to members
-
Regularly informing members about the committee’s work and providing opportunities for feedback
-
Maintaining financial records consistent with best practice
-
Applying for grants to help further the Association’s aims
-
Meeting the Association’s reporting obligations, including grant acquittal, in a timely manner
-
Maintaining adequate insurance cover
-
Sending out invoices and paying bills on time
2. To continuously maintain and improve Hollisdale Hall
3. To host a community barbecue on the First Friday of every month at the Hollisdale Hall.
4. To host special events throughout the year (trivia night; bush dance; dramatic productions, workshops; seminars).
5. To produce a monthly newsletter (Pitchfork), delivered to every RMB in the Pappinbarra Valley, emailed to anyone who requests it, and made available for pick-up in the local village of Beechwood for any interested locals.
